
Kari Aina Eik
Kari Aina Eik is a key figure in urban development who has built a leading global platform for connecting businesses, international organizations, and governments. Ms. Eik has over 15 years of experience with the United Nations, served as the Secretary General of the Organization for International Economic Relations (OiER), co-chaired the United for Smart Sustainable Cities (U4SSC) initiative, and helped initiate the United Smart Cities (USC) program.
She has contributed significantly to the UN Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDG 11, which focuses on sustainable cities and communities. She also serves as a senior advisor to governments and UN agencies, helping to implement these goals effectively.
She received an MA in Political Science from the University of Oslo.
